The vehicles of III and IV category are entitled to an annual discount of 30,43% in the period from January 1 to December 31 of the current year via standing order tied to a credit card.
An additional discount is a discount that is granted atop of the annual discount to vehicles of EURO 4 emission class in an amount of 3% and to vehicles of EURO 5 emission class in an amount of 5%. The said discount can be realised only for the use of ETC device for a specific vehicle (vehicle registration) and by purchasing a new service.
The documents that shall be submitted to prove the vehicle emission class:

Vehicles with Croatian registration licences shall prove their compliance with EURO 5 requirements regarding the noise and emission and safety requirement with traffic licence or certificate to a motor vehicle stating the compliance of the vehicle with EURO norm.

Vehicles with Croatian registration licences shall prove their compliance with EURO 4 requirements regarding the noise and emission and safety requirement with the "Certificate by the authorised representative of manufacturer if the traffic licence or certificate to a motor vehicle does not have stated compliance with EURO norm”.

Vehicles with foreign registration plates prove their compliance with EURO 4 and EURO 5 requirements with the "Certificate by the authorised manufacturer of vehicles in the country of registration“.
The first time users of ETC post-paid service in addition to the stated documents shall have a credit card for the activation of the standing order for payment via ETC device to the vehicle registration plate.
The modified General conditions contain the provision with which HAC is entitled to issue a receipt in which a difference to the full amount of toll will be calculated in case when the user changes ETC from one to another vehicle and the registration plate on ETC does not match the registration on the vehicle.
