EETS
EETS-EUROPEAN ELECTRONIC TOLL SERVICE
The EETS is a service provided by an EETS Provider to the EETS user in one or more of the EETS domains pursuant to a contract. EETS supplements the service of electronic toll collection of company Hrvatske Autoceste d.o.o. i.e. the concession company.
The EETS Provider is a legal person that pursuant to the separate contract allows the access to EETS and pays toll to the relevant Toll Charger who has a registered seat in one of the EU member countries.
EETS user is a natural or legal person who has a contract with the EETS Provider for access to EETS.
The EETS domain consists of a road, a road network, a structure such as a bridge or tunnel where tolls are collected by an electronic toll collection system.
The Toll Charger is a legal entity that operates the motorway and the electronic toll collection system implemented on the motorway and collects toll for vehicle traffic in the EETS domain.
